winter fruit salad

A refreshing and vibrant winter fruit salad combining seasonal fruits with a light citrus dressing, perfect for a healthy snack or side dish.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups peeled and segmented oranges
  • 1 cup pomegranate seeds
  • 1 apple, diced
  • 1 cup sliced kiwi
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice
  • 1/2 teaspoon grated ginger

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, combine oranges, pomegranate seeds, diced apple, and sliced kiwi.
  2. In a small bowl, whisk together honey, lemon juice, and grated ginger until well blended.
  3. Pour the citrus dressing over the fruit mixture and toss gently to coat evenly.
  4. Sprinkle chopped walnuts on top for added crunch.
  5. Chill the salad in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a handful of fresh mint leaves or a sprinkle of cinnamon before serving.
