Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 pounds chicken wings
  • 1 tablespoon smoked paprika
  • 1 tablespoon chili powder
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon ground cumin
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and line a baking sheet with foil or parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine smoked paprika, chili powder, cayenne pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, ground cumin, salt, and black pepper to create the dry rub.
  3. Pat the chicken wings dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture.
  4. Place the wings in a large bowl, drizzle with olive oil, and toss to coat evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the dry rub over the wings and toss again to ensure each wing is thoroughly coated with the spices.
  6. Arrange the wings in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  7. Bake for 35-40 minutes, flipping halfway through, until wings are crispy and cooked through.
  8. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
