These Spicy Cranberry BBQ Meatballs are a flavor explosion! Sweet cranberries meet smoky BBQ sauce with a kick of spice, creating the perfect appetizer or main course.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • 1/4 cup chopped onion
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup BBQ sauce
  • 1 tbsp sriracha (or more, to taste)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, milk, egg, onion, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Roll the mixture into 1-inch meatballs.
  4. Place meatballs on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until cooked through.
  6. While meatballs are baking, prepare the sauce. In a saucepan, combine cranberry sauce, BBQ sauce, and sriracha. Heat over medium heat, stirring until well combined.
  7. Once meatballs are cooked, transfer them to the saucepan with the sauce. Stir to coat.
  8. Simmer for 5-10 minutes, allowing the flavors to meld.
  9. Serve hot.

Notes

Serve these meatballs as an appetizer with toothpicks, or as a main course over rice or mashed potatoes. For a milder flavor, reduce the amount of sriracha.
