Appetizing Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip

This Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken Dip is the ultimate party appetizer! Creamy, cheesy, and packed with buffalo flavor, it’s a crowd-pleaser that’s incredibly easy to make.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup buffalo wing sauce (such as Frank’s RedHot)
  • 1 cup ranch dressing
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1/2 cup crumbled blue cheese (optional)
  • Green onions, sliced (for garnish)
  • Tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers, for serving

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the slow cooker.
  2. Pour buffalo wing sauce and ranch dressing over the chicken.
  3. Add cream cheese and cheddar cheese on top.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 4-6 hours or on high for 2-3 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and easily shreds.
  5. Shred the chicken with two forks directly in the slow cooker.
  6. Stir everything together until well combined.
  7. If desired, sprinkle with blue cheese.
  8. Serve hot with tortilla chips, celery sticks, or crackers, garnished with green onions.

Notes

For a smoother dip, you can shred the chicken and then mix everything in a separate bowl before adding it back to the slow cooker to keep warm.
