Enjoy the classic flavors of a Samoa cookie transformed into a delightful and easy-to-make treat! These Samoa Caramel Apple Slices are dipped in caramel, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with toasted coconut for a sweet and satisfying snack.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 medium apples (Granny Smith or Honeycrisp recommended)
  • 1 cup caramel bits, melted
  • 1/2 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips, melted
  • 1/2 cup shredded coconut, toasted
  • Wooden craft sticks

Instructions

  1. Wash and dry the apples thoroughly. Remove the stems and insert a wooden craft stick into the core of each apple.
  2. Slice each apple into approximately 1/2-inch thick rounds.
  3. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  4. Melt the caramel bits according to package directions. Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, coating completely. Place the caramel-covered slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  5. Melt the chocolate chips according to package directions. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-covered apple slices.
  6. Sprinkle the toasted coconut over the chocolate drizzle while the chocolate is still wet.
  7. Refrigerate the Samoa Caramel Apple Slices for at least 30 minutes to allow the caramel and chocolate to set.
  8. Serve chilled and enjoy!

Notes

For an extra touch, sprinkle a pinch of sea salt over the apple slices before refrigerating. This enhances the sweetness and adds a salty-sweet dimension.
