Reeses Peanut Butter Cups

Homemade Reeses Peanut Butter Cups offer a rich combination of creamy peanut butter and smooth chocolate, perfect for a decadent dessert or snack.

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  1. Melt the chocolate chips in a microwave-safe bowl in 30-second intervals, stirring between each until smooth.
  2. Line a mini muffin tin with paper liners and spoon a small amount of melted chocolate into each liner, coating the bottom completely.
  3. In a separate bowl, mix peanut butter, powdered sugar, softened butter, and salt until smooth.
  4. Place the muffin tin in the freezer for 10 minutes to let the chocolate set.
  5. Remove the tin and spoon a dollop of the peanut butter mixture onto the chocolate layer in each cup.
  6. Top each cup with remaining melted chocolate, covering the peanut butter layer completely.
  7. Freeze for at least 30 minutes until fully set.
  8. Remove from muffin tin and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.

Notes

For an extra crunch, add chopped peanuts into the peanut butter mixture before assembling.
