Delicious Homemade Pumpkin Brownies

These fudgy pumpkin brownies are the perfect fall treat. They’re rich, chocolatey, and bursting with pumpkin spice flavor.

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 2 cups granulated sugar
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 cup pumpkin puree
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • ¾ cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • ½ teaspoon baking powder
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
  • 1 cup chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a 9×13 inch baking pan.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk together melted butter and sugar until well combined.
  3. Beat in eggs one at a time, then stir in vanilla extract and pumpkin puree.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and pumpkin pie spice.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  6. Stir in chocolate chips.
  7. Pour batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly.
  8. Bake for 25-30 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with moist crumbs attached.
  9. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips. Serve with a scoop of vanilla ice cream or a dusting of powdered sugar.
