These Puff Pastry Brie Bites are an easy and elegant appetizer perfect for any gathering. Flaky puff pastry encases creamy brie, creating a delightful combination of textures and flavors.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, cut into 1-inch cubes
  • 1/4 cup raspberry jam
  • 1 egg, beaten
  • Optional: chopped pecans or walnuts for garnish

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold puff pastry on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 2-inch squares.
  3. Place a brie cube in the center of each square. Top with a small spoonful of raspberry jam.
  4. Bring the corners of the puff pastry to the center and pinch to seal.
  5. Brush the tops of the pastry with beaten egg.
  6. Optional: Sprinkle with chopped nuts.
  7. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  8. Let cool slightly before serving.
