Peppermint Bark Brownies

Indulge in rich, fudgy brownies swirled with creamy white chocolate and crunchy peppermint pieces. These Peppermint Bark Brownies are the perfect festive treat for the holiday season!

  • 1 box (18.3 ounces) brownie mix (plus ingredients called for on the box)
  • 4 ounces white chocolate, chopped
  • 1/4 cup heavy cream
  • 1/4 teaspoon peppermint extract
  • 1/2 cup crushed peppermint candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Prepare brownie mix according to package directions.
  2. Pour brownie batter into a greased 9×13 inch baking pan.
  3. Bake for the time recommended on the box, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with fudgy crumbs.
  4. While the brownies are baking, melt the white chocolate and heavy cream in a double boiler or microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until smooth.
  5. Stir in peppermint extract.
  6. Once brownies are out of the oven, immediately drizzle the melted white chocolate mixture over the top.
  7. Sprinkle with crushed peppermint candies.
  8. Let cool completely before cutting into squares.

Notes

For a richer flavor, use a dark chocolate brownie mix. You can also add a layer of chocolate ganache on top for an extra decadent treat.
