A creamy and flavorful peanut sauce perfect for dipping, drizzling, or tossing with noodles and salads, combining savory, sweet, and tangy notes.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1/2 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 2 tablespoons soy sauce
  • 1 tablespoon rice vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon honey or maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon grated fresh ginger
  • 1 clove garlic, minced
  • 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • 1/4 to 1/3 cup warm water
  • 1 teaspoon toasted sesame oil

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, combine peanut butter, soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, grated ginger, and minced garlic.
  2. Whisk ingredients together until smooth and creamy.
  3. Add warm water gradually, whisking until desired consistency is reached.
  4. Mix in red pepper flakes for a touch of heat, if using.
  5. Stir in toasted sesame oil for added flavor.
  6. Adjust seasoning to taste and serve immediately or refrigerate for later use.

Notes

For a thinner sauce perfect for drizzling, add more warm water. This sauce pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken, steamed vegetables, or cold noodle salads.
