One-Pan Chicken Lo Mein

This One-Pan Chicken Lo Mein is a quick and flavorful Asian-inspired dish featuring tender chicken, crisp vegetables, and savory noodles all cooked together for an easy, satisfying meal.

  • 8 oz lo mein noodles
  • 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1 cup shredded carrots
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 3 green onions, sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tablespoons oyster sauce
  • 1 tablespoon hoisin sauce
  • 1 teaspoon sesame oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. Cook lo mein noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Heat vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
  3. Add sliced chicken to the pan, season with salt and pepper, and cook for 5-6 minutes until browned and cooked through.
  4. Add minced garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.
  5. Stir in bell peppers, carrots, snap peas, and cook for 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender-crisp.
  6. In a small bowl, mix together soy sauce, oyster sauce, hoisin sauce, sesame oil, and red pepper flakes.
  7. Add the cooked noodles and sauce mixture to the skillet; toss everything together to combine and heat through for 2-3 minutes.
  8. Remove from heat and garnish with sliced green onions before serving.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a splash of fresh lime juice or sprinkle with toasted sesame seeds before serving.
