  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (9-inch) pie crust, unbaked

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Boil sweet potatoes until tender, about 15-20 minutes. Drain well.
  3. In a large bowl, mash the sweet potatoes until smooth.
  4. Add sugar, melted butter, milk, vanilla extract, cinnamon, nutmeg, and salt to the mashed sweet potatoes. Mix well until combined.
  5. Pour the sweet potato mixture into the unbaked pie crust.
