  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1 cup ricotta cheese
  • 2 tablespoons honey, plus extra for drizzling
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • Fresh rosemary leaves, for garnish
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste
  • Optional: lemon zest for a fresh aroma

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough onto a piece of parchment paper for easy handling.
  4. Brush the dough lightly with olive oil to create a crisp crust.
  5. In a bowl, mix ricotta cheese with honey, salt, and pepper until smooth.
  6. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Slide the parchment paper with the pizza onto the preheated stone or baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and crisp.
  9. Remove from the oven and immediately drizzle with extra honey and sprinkle fresh rosemary leaves and optional lemon zest on top.
  10. Slice and serve warm.
