Enjoy warm, from-scratch graham crackers with a hint of honey and cinnamon. Perfect for s’mores, pie crusts, or a simple snack!

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) unsalted butter, cold and cubed
  • 1/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup milk
  • 2 tablespoons granulated sugar, for sprinkling
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, for sprinkling

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, whole wheat flour, baking soda, and salt.
  2. Cut in the cold butter using a pastry blender or your fingers until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  3. Stir in the brown sugar and honey.
  4. Gradually add the milk, mixing until a dough forms.
  5. Turn the dough out onto a lightly floured surface and knead gently for a few seconds until it comes together.
  6. Divide the dough in half. Roll each half out into a thin rectangle (about 1/8 inch thick).
  7. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into squares or rectangles (about 2-3 inches).
  8. Prick each cracker several times with a fork.
  9. In a small bowl, combine the granulated sugar and cinnamon. Sprinkle the crackers evenly with the sugar mixture.
  10. Place the crackers on baking sheets lined with parchment paper.
  11. Bake in a preheated oven at 350°F (175°C) for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown.
  12. Let the crackers cool completely on the baking sheets before serving.

Notes

For a richer flavor, brush the crackers with melted butter before sprinkling with sugar and cinnamon. Store in an airtight container at room temperature.
