Cheesy Garlic Breadsticks Appetizer

These homemade cheesy garlic breadsticks are soft, garlicky, and loaded with melted cheese. Perfect as a side dish or a snack, they’re incredibly easy to make and will be a family favorite!

Ingredients

  • 1 lb pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped (optional)
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a small bowl, combine melted butter, minced garlic, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Roll out the pizza dough into a large rectangle, about 12×16 inches.
  4. Brush the garlic butter mixture evenly over the dough.
  5. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and mozzarella cheese.
  6. Using a pizza cutter or knife, cut the dough into 1-inch wide strips.
  7. Twist each strip gently and place them on the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Garnish with fresh parsley (optional) and serve warm.

Notes

Serve these cheesy garlic breadsticks with marinara sauce for dipping. You can also add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the garlic butter for a little heat.
