Homemade Caesar Salad Dressing Recipe

This creamy and flavorful homemade Caesar salad dressing combines classic ingredients for a rich and zesty taste, perfect for elevating your salads naturally.

  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 anchovy fillets, finely chopped
  • 2 tablespoons freshly squeezed lemon juice
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1/2 cup extra virgin olive oil
  • 1/4 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese
  • Salt and freshly ground black pepper, to taste

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg yolk, minced garlic, anchovy fillets, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and Worcestershire sauce until smooth.
  2. Slowly drizzle in the olive oil while continuously whisking to emulsify the dressing.
  3. Once fully incorporated, fold in the grated Parmesan cheese.
  4. Season with salt and freshly ground black pepper to taste.
  5. Refrigerate the dressing for at least 30 minutes before serving to allow the flavors to meld.
