This Halloween Oreo Dirt Cake is a spooky and delicious treat that’s perfect for parties. Layers of crushed Oreos, creamy pudding, and gummy worms create a festive dessert everyone will love.

  • 1 (15 ounce) package Oreo cookies, crushed
  • 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
  • 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1 (3.4 ounce) package instant vanilla pudding mix
  • 3 cups milk
  • 8 ounces Cool Whip, thawed
  • Gummy worms and Halloween sprinkles for decoration

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, cream together the softened cream cheese and butter until smooth. Gradually beat in the powdered sugar until well combined.
  2. In a separate bowl, whisk together the vanilla pudding mix and milk. Let stand for 2 minutes until slightly thickened.
  3. Gently fold the pudding mixture into the cream cheese mixture. Then, fold in the Cool Whip.
  4. In a large serving dish or trifle bowl, layer the crushed Oreos and the pudding mixture, starting with a layer of crushed Oreos. Repeat layers until all ingredients are used, ending with a layer of crushed Oreos on top.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 2 hours, or preferably overnight, to allow the flavors to meld.
  6. Before serving, decorate with gummy worms and Halloween sprinkles.

Notes

For an extra touch, add a layer of chocolate pudding or crushed chocolate sandwich cookies. You can also use different colored sprinkles or candies to customize your dirt cake for any occasion.
