Halloween Crack Ready to Eat

This Halloween Crack is a sweet and salty treat perfect for parties and snacking. It’s a simple cracker candy covered in melted chocolate and topped with festive Halloween sprinkles.

  • 1 sleeve saltine crackers
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) salted butter
  • 1 cup packed brown sugar
  • 12 ounces semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • Halloween sprinkles

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Arrange saltine crackers in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet.
  3. In a saucepan, melt butter and brown sugar over medium heat, stirring constantly until mixture comes to a boil. Boil for 3 minutes, stirring constantly.
  4. Pour the butter-sugar mixture evenly over the crackers.
  5. Bake for 5-6 minutes, or until bubbly.
  6. Remove from oven and immediately sprinkle chocolate chips evenly over the hot cracker layer.
  7. Let stand for a few minutes until chocolate is melted. Spread the melted chocolate evenly over the cracker layer.
  8. Immediately sprinkle with Halloween sprinkles.
  9. Let cool completely before breaking into pieces.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, try adding chopped nuts or pretzels before the chocolate sets.
