This Halloween cookie cake is a fun and festive dessert perfect for parties! A giant chocolate chip cookie base is decorated with colorful frosting and spooky Halloween candies.

  • 2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, softened
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 3/4 cup packed brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1 container (16 oz) vanilla frosting
  • Halloween sprinkles and candies

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the vanilla extract and eggs.
  3. In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.
  4. Press the dough into a greased 12-inch pizza pan or round cake pan.
  5. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Let cool completely.
  6. Frost the cookie cake with vanilla frosting. Decorate with Halloween sprinkles and candies.
  7. Slice and serve!

Notes

For a richer flavor, use dark chocolate chips instead of semi-sweet. You can also add peanut butter cups or other Halloween candies to the dough before baking.
