This Garlic Parmesan Chicken is a flavorful and easy-to-make dish featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a garlic-butter Parmesan sauce, perfect for a quick weeknight dinner.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup heavy cream
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper, to taste
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Season the chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning on both sides.
  2. In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
  3. Add the chicken breasts and cook for 5-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside.
  4. In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and saute for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese until the sauce thickens slightly.
  7. Return the chicken to the skillet and spoon the sauce over each piece to coat.
  8. Cook for an additional 2 minutes to heat through.
  9. Garnish with chopped parsley before serving, if desired.
