Fudgy Brownie Cookies

These fudgy brownie cookies combine the rich, dense texture of brownies with the convenience of a cookie, delivering a chewy, chocolatey treat perfect for any occasion.

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1/2 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, mix melted butter and sugar until combined.
  3. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition, then stir in vanilla extract.
  4. In a separate bowl, whisk together cocoa powder, baking powder, salt, and flour.
  5. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, stirring until just combined.
  6. Fold in chocolate chips evenly throughout the dough.
  7. Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing about 2 inches apart.
  8. Bake for 10-12 minutes, until the edges are set but the centers remain fudgy.
  9. Allow cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.

Notes

For an extra indulgent twist, sprinkle a pinch of flaky sea salt on top of each cookie before baking to enhance the chocolate flavor.
