  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/4 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 2 tablespoons milk
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. In a large bowl, cream together the butter, granulated sugar, and powdered sugar until light and fluffy.

  6. Using a cookie scoop or spoon, drop dough onto prepared baking sheets about 2 inches apart.
  7. Bake for 9-11 minutes or until edges are set but centers remain soft.
  8. Allow cookies to cool completely on a wire rack before frosting.
  9. To prepare frosting, beat together powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla extract until smooth.
  10. Spread frosting over cooled cookies and decorate with colored sprinkles.

Notes

For extra softness, store cookies in an airtight container with a slice of bread to maintain moisture.
