White Pizza

White Pizza is a creamy, cheesy alternative to traditional tomato-based pizzas, featuring a rich blend of ricotta, mozzarella, and garlic on a crispy crust.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 pizza dough (store-bought or homemade)
  • 1/2 cup ricotta cheese
  • 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon dried oregano
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Fresh basil leaves (optional, for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 475°F (245°C). If using a pizza stone, place it in the oven to heat.
  2. Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness.
  3. Transfer the dough to a baking sheet or a pizza peel if using a pizza stone.
  4. In a small bowl, mix the ricotta cheese with minced garlic, salt, and pepper.
  5. Brush the pizza dough lightly with olive oil.
  6. Spread the ricotta mixture evenly over the dough, leaving a small border around the edges.
  7. Sprinkle mozzarella and Parmesan cheese evenly on top.
  8. Sprinkle dried oregano over the cheese.
  9. Bake in the oven for 10-12 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly and slightly browned.
  10. Remove from the oven and garnish with fresh basil leaves if desired.
  11. Slice and serve warm.

Notes

For a more flavorful twist, add caramelized onions or sautéed mushrooms before baking.
