Ingredients

  • 1 whole wheat pita bread or small pizza crust
  • 1/4 cup marinara sauce
  • 1/4 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
  • 2 tablespoons cooked chicken breast, diced
  • 1/4 cup sliced bell peppers
  • 1/4 cup sliced mushrooms
  • 1 tablespoon grated Parmesan cheese
  • Optional: red pepper flakes, dried oregano

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Place the pita bread or pizza crust on a baking sheet.
  3. Spread marinara sauce evenly over the crust.
  4. Sprinkle mozzarella cheese over the sauce.
  5. Top with cooked chicken, bell peppers, and mushrooms.
  6. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese, red pepper flakes (if using), and dried oregano (if using).
  7. Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
