BBQ chicken

A flavorful and juicy BBQ chicken recipe perfect for grilling season, featuring tender chicken breasts coated in a smoky homemade barbecue sauce.

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup BBQ sauce
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon smoked paprika
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat grill to medium-high heat.
  2. In a small bowl, mix olive oil, smoked paprika, garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Brush chicken breasts with the oil and spice mixture.
  4. Place chicken on the grill and cook for 6-7 minutes per side, until internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  5. In the last 5 minutes of cooking, brush BBQ sauce generously on both sides of the chicken.
  6. Remove chicken from the grill and let rest for 5 minutes.
  7. Garnish with fresh parsley if desired and serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, marinate the chicken in BBQ sauce for 2 hours before grilling. Serve with coleslaw or grilled vegetables for a complete meal.
