  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 (6 ounce) package stuffing mix
  • 1 1/2 cups chicken broth
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 can (10.75 ounce) condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1 teaspoon dried thyme
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Place chicken breasts in the bottom of a slow cooker.
  2. In a large bowl, combine stuffing mix, chicken broth, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, milk, thyme, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  3. Spread the stuffing mixture evenly over the chicken breasts.
  4. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or on high for 3-4 hours, or until chicken is cooked through and stuffing is tender.
  5. Serve hot.

Notes

For extra flavor, add a layer of sliced onions or celery under the chicken before adding the stuffing.
