Cranberry Brie Puff Pastry Cups

Delightful cranberry and melted brie nestled in golden puff pastry cups, perfect as a festive appetizer or elegant snack. These easy-to-make bites combine sweet, tangy, and creamy flavors in every bite.

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz Brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 1/2 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)
  • Fresh thyme leaves for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a mini muffin tin.
  2. Roll out the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface. Cut into 12 equal squares.
  3. Gently press each pastry square into the mini muffin tin cups.
  4. Place a cube of Brie cheese in the bottom of each pastry cup.
  5. Add about 1 teaspoon of cranberry sauce on top of the Brie.
  6. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg to give a golden finish.
  7. Bake for 15-18 minutes or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.
  8. Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before removing from the tin.
  9. Garnish with fresh thyme leaves if desired and serve warm.

Notes

For an extra crunch, sprinkle chopped pecans on top before baking or serve with a drizzle of honey.
