This Cranberry Brie Crescent Wreath is a stunning and delicious appetizer perfect for holiday gatherings. Flaky crescent dough is filled with creamy brie and sweet-tart cranberry sauce, then baked into a festive wreath shape.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 cans (8 ounces each) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 8 ounces Brie cheese, rind removed, cut into cubes
  • 1 cup whole berry cranberry sauce
  • 1/4 cup chopped pecans or walnuts (optional)
  • 1 large egg, beaten
  • 1 tablespoon milk or water
  • Powdered sugar, for dusting (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unroll both cans of crescent dough and separate into triangles.
  3. Arrange the triangles in a circle on the prepared baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping in the center and the pointed ends facing outwards.
  4. In a bowl, combine the brie cubes and cranberry sauce. If using, stir in the chopped nuts.
  5. Spoon the brie and cranberry mixture evenly over the wide ends of the crescent triangles, near the center of the circle.
  6. Fold the pointed ends of the triangles over the filling, tucking them under the center circle to form a wreath shape.
  7. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg and milk/water. Brush the egg wash over the entire wreath.
  8. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving. Dust with powdered sugar, if desired.

Notes
