These Cranberry BBQ Meatballs offer a perfect balance of tangy cranberry sauce and smoky barbecue flavors, making them an irresistible appetizer or snack for any occasion.

  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1/4 cup bread crumbs
  • 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/4 cup finely chopped onion
  • 1 egg
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 1/4 tsp black pepper
  • 1 cup cranberry sauce
  • 1/2 cup barbecue sauce
  • 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tbsp olive oil (for cooking)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, bread crumbs, Parmesan cheese, chopped onion, egg, minced garlic, salt, and pepper. Mix until evenly combined.
  3. Shape the mixture into 1-inch meatballs and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  4. Bake meatballs for 18-20 minutes or until cooked through.
  5. Meanwhile, in a saucepan over medium heat, combine cranberry sauce, barbecue sauce, and Worcestershire sauce. Stir and simmer for 5 minutes until heated through.
  6. In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add baked meatballs and pour the cranberry BBQ sauce over them.
  7. Cook and stir gently for 3-5 minutes, allowing the meatballs to soak up the sauce.
  8. Serve warm as an appetizer or alongside your favorite sides.

Notes

For an extra kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sauce, or serve the meatballs on slider buns for a tasty party snack.
