Copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole

This Copycat Cracker Barrel Hashbrown Casserole is creamy, cheesy, and packed with delicious potato flavor. It’s the perfect comfort food side dish for any occasion!

  • 30 ounces frozen shredded hash browns, thawed
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of chicken soup
  • 1 pint sour cream
  • 1/2 cup chopped onion
  • 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  2. In a large bowl, combine the thawed hash browns, melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, and chopped onion. Mix well.
  3. Stir in 1 1/2 cups of the shredded cheddar cheese, salt, and pepper.
  4. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  5. Sprinkle the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese over the top.
  6. Bake for 45-55 minutes, or until golden brown and bubbly.
  7. Let stand for 10 minutes before serving.

Notes

For an extra crispy topping, sprinkle crushed cornflakes over the cheese before baking.
