Christmas Cracker Candy is a festive, crunchy treat featuring colorful sprinkles and a sweet vanilla coating, perfect for holiday celebrations and gift-giving.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup light corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups white candy melts
  • 2 tablespoons rainbow sprinkles
  • 6 foil-wrapped cardboard cracker tubes

Instructions

  1. In a medium saucepan, combine sugar, corn syrup, water, and salt. Heat over medium heat, stirring until sugar dissolves.
  2. Bring mixture to a boil without stirring until temperature reaches 300°F (hard crack stage) using a candy thermometer.
  3. Remove from heat and stir in vanilla extract.
  4. Carefully pour the hot candy mixture into the foil-wrapped cracker tubes, filling each halfway.
  5. Allow the candy to cool and harden completely, about 30 minutes.
  6. Melt white candy melts according to package instructions until smooth.
  7. Dip each candy-filled cracker into the melted white chocolate, then immediately sprinkle with rainbow sprinkles.
  8. Place on parchment paper to set, then wrap or serve as festive holiday favors.

Notes

For a fun twist, add crushed peppermint inside the candy mixture before it cools or use colored candy melts to match your holiday theme.
