These flavorful chicken tacos are easy to make and perfect for a quick weeknight dinner. Tender chicken, seasoned with a blend of spices, is served in warm tortillas with your favorite toppings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1.5 lbs boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 tbsp olive oil

Instructions

  1. Cut chicken breasts into small pieces.
  2. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add chicken and cook until browned on all sides.
  3. Stir in taco seasoning and water. Bring to a simmer and cook until chicken is cooked through and sauce has thickened, about 10-15 minutes.
  4. Warm tortillas according to package directions.
  5. Fill tortillas with chicken and your favorite toppings. Serve immediately.

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the taco seasoning. You can also use pre-cooked rotisserie chicken to save time.
