  • 1 (10.75 ounce) can condensed cream of mushroom soup
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 (14.5 ounce) cans cut green beans, drained
  • 1 1/2 cups shredded cheddar cheese, divided
  • 1 1/3 cups crispy fried onions, divided

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C).
  2. In a large bowl, stir together the cream of mushroom soup, milk, and pepper.
  3. Gently mix in the drained green beans and 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese.
  4. Pour the mixture into a 9×13 inch baking dish.
  5. Top with the remaining 1/2 cup of cheddar cheese and 2/3 cup of crispy fried onions.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until heated through and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  7. Sprinkle the remaining 2/3 cup of crispy fried onions over the casserole during the last 5 minutes of baking.
  8. Let stand for a few minutes before serving.

Notes
