Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 lb breakfast sausage, uncooked
  • 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
  • 1 (10 oz) can refrigerated biscuit dough (like Grands! or similar), cut into quarters
  • 1/4 cup butter, melted
  • 1/2 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/4 tsp dried parsley
  • Pinch of salt

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the uncooked sausage and shredded cheddar cheese. Mix well with your hands.
  3. Cut each biscuit quarter into smaller pieces, about 4-6 pieces per quarter. Add the biscuit pieces to the sausage mixture.
  4. Mix everything together until well combined.
  5. Roll the mixture into 1-inch balls and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  6. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and cooked through.
  7. While the sausage balls are baking, melt the butter in a small bowl. Stir in the garlic powder, dried parsley, and a pinch of salt.
  8. Once the sausage balls are out of the oven, brush them with the garlic butter mixture.
  9. Serve immediately and enjoy!

Notes

For a spicier kick, add a pinch of red pepper flakes to the sausage mixture. Serve with your favorite dipping sauce, such as honey mustard or ranch dressing.
