Delicious Caramel Apple Slices

These caramel apple slices are an easy and delicious treat! Sliced apples are dipped in caramel, drizzled with chocolate, and topped with your favorite sprinkles.

Ingredients

  • 4 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp or Gala), cored and sliced
  • 1 (14 ounce) package caramel candies, unwrapped
  • 2 tablespoons milk or heavy cream
  • 4 ounces semi-sweet chocolate, chopped
  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil
  • Optional toppings: sprinkles, chopped nuts, sea salt

Instructions

  1. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the caramel candies and milk/cream. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  3. Dip each apple slice into the melted caramel, ensuring it is well coated. Place the caramel-covered slices on the prepared baking sheet.
  4. In another microwave-safe bowl, combine the chopped chocolate and coconut oil. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between, until melted and smooth.
  5. Drizzle the melted chocolate over the caramel-covered apple slices.
  6. Immediately sprinkle with your desired toppings, such as sprinkles, chopped nuts, or sea salt.
  7. Refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to allow the caramel and chocolate to set before serving.

Notes

For easier dipping, insert a popsicle stick into the base of each apple slice. You can also use white chocolate or dark chocolate for the drizzle.
