Delicious Homemade Caramel Apple Cheese Ball

This Caramel Apple Cheese Ball is a sweet and savory appetizer perfect for fall gatherings. Cream cheese, apples, caramel, and pecans combine for a festive and delicious treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce, divided
  • 1/4 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 medium apple, peeled, cored, and finely diced
  • 1/2 cup chopped pecans, toasted
  • Graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels, for serving

Instructions

  1. In a medium bowl, beat together the softened cream cheese, 1/4 cup of the caramel sauce, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and well combined.
  2. Gently fold in the diced apple.
  3. Place the mixture on a sheet of plastic wrap and form into a ball. Wrap tightly and refrigerate for at least 2 hours to allow the cheese ball to firm up.
  4. While the cheese ball chills, prepare the topping. In a shallow dish, spread the toasted pecans evenly.
  5. Remove the cheese ball from the refrigerator and unwrap it. Roll the cheese ball in the chopped pecans, pressing gently to help them adhere.
  6. Drizzle the remaining 1/4 cup of caramel sauce over the cheese ball.
  7. Serve immediately with graham crackers, apple slices, or pretzels.

Notes

For an extra layer of flavor, consider adding a pinch of cinnamon or nutmeg to the cream cheese mixture.
