Candied Kielbasa Bites offer a perfect balance of savory sausage and sweet glaze, making them an irresistible appetizer for any gathering.

  • 1 lb kielbasa sausage, sliced into 1/2-inch pieces
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup Dijon mustard
  • 1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil

Instructions

  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add sliced kielbasa and cook until browned on both sides, about 5 minutes.
  3. In a bowl, whisk together brown sugar, honey, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, garlic powder, and black pepper.
  4. Pour the glaze over the browned kielbasa pieces in the skillet.
  5. Reduce heat to low and simmer, stirring occasionally, until the glaze thickens and coats the kielbasa, about 7-8 minutes.
  6. Remove from heat and let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

For an extra kick, sprinkle red pepper flakes over the bites or add a dash of hot sauce to the glaze.
