Buckeye Dip

Buckeye Dip is a rich and creamy peanut butter and chocolate dessert dip inspired by the classic Ohio buckeye candy, perfect for parties and gatherings.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 1 cup creamy peanut butter
  • 8 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup powdered sugar
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 1/2 cups semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 2 tablespoons heavy cream

Instructions

  1. In a mixing bowl, beat peanut butter, cream cheese, butter, powdered sugar, and vanilla extract until smooth and creamy.
  2. Transfer the peanut butter mixture into a serving bowl and smooth the top.
  3. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt chocolate chips with heavy cream in 30-second intervals, stirring after each, until smooth.
  4. Pour the melted chocolate over the peanut butter layer and spread evenly.
  5. Refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving to allow the layers to set.
  6. Serve with graham crackers, pretzels, or apple slices for dipping.

Notes

For a fun twist, sprinkle chopped peanuts or sea salt on top of the chocolate layer before chilling.
