Freshly baked Caesar chicken with creamy Parmesan sauce

This Baked Caesar Chicken features tender, juicy chicken breasts topped with a rich and creamy Parmesan sauce, perfectly blending classic Caesar flavors with an easy oven-baked method.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tablespoons mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 teaspoons Dijon mustard
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • ½ cup chopped Romaine lettuce (optional, for garnish)
  • 1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Brush the chicken breasts with olive oil and season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
  3. Place the chicken in a baking dish and bake for 25-30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (74°C).
  4. While the chicken is baking, prepare the creamy Parmesan sauce: In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, mayonnaise, lemon juice, Dijon mustard, and minced garlic. Stir continuously until the cheese is melted and the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened, about 5 minutes.
  5. Once the chicken is done, remove it from the oven and spoon the creamy Parmesan sauce evenly over each breast.
  6. Return the chicken to the oven for an additional 5 minutes to warm the sauce.
  7. Garnish with chopped Romaine lettuce and fresh parsley before serving, if desired.

Notes

For extra flavor, sprinkle some crispy bacon bits on top or serve with crusty garlic bread to soak up the creamy sauce.
