Enjoy crispy and delicious apple chips made easily in your air fryer! This healthy snack requires minimal ingredients and is perfect for a guilt-free treat.

Ingredients

Scale
  • 2 medium apples (such as Honeycrisp, Fuji, or Gala)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon (optional)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice (optional, to prevent browning)

Instructions

  1. Wash and thoroughly dry the apples.
  2. Using a mandoline or sharp knife, slice the apples into very thin slices (about 1/16 inch thick).
  3. If desired, toss the apple slices with lemon juice to prevent browning.
  4. Sprinkle the apple slices with cinnamon (if using).
  5. Arrange the apple slices in a single layer in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. You may need to cook in batches.
  6. Air fry at 300°F (150°C) for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the chips are crispy and lightly browned. Cooking time may vary depending on your air fryer.
  7. Let the apple chips cool completely before serving. They will crisp up more as they cool.

Notes

For extra flavor, try adding a sprinkle of nutmeg or a dash of pumpkin pie spice before air frying. Store in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 3 days.
