These Apple Butter Brie Bites are the perfect sweet and savory appetizer. Flaky puff pastry cups are filled with creamy brie and sweet apple butter, creating a delightful bite-sized treat.

Ingredients

  • 1 sheet puff pastry, thawed
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed, cut into small cubes
  • 1/4 cup apple butter
  • 1 tablespoon chopped pecans (optional)
  • 1 egg, beaten (for egg wash)

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Lightly grease a mini muffin tin.
  3. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Cut the puff pastry into small squares, large enough to fit into the mini muffin cups.
  5. Gently press each square into the muffin cups.
  6. Place a few cubes of brie into each pastry cup.
  7. Top with a spoonful of apple butter.
  8. Sprinkle with chopped pecans, if desired.
  9. Brush the edges of the pastry with the beaten egg.
  10. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the pastry is golden brown and the brie is melted.
  11. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Drizzle with a balsamic glaze after baking for an extra touch of flavor. These are best served warm.
