Apple and Brie Puff Pastry Bites on a Festive Platter

These Apple and Brie Puff Pastry Bites are the perfect appetizer! Flaky puff pastry, sweet apples, and creamy brie combine for a delicious and easy treat.

  • 1 sheet (14.1 oz) frozen puff pastry, thawed
  • 1 medium apple, such as Honeycrisp or Gala, cored and thinly sliced
  • 4 oz brie cheese, rind removed and cut into small cubes
  • 2 tablespoons butter, melted
  • 1 tablespoon honey
  • 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • Pinch of nutmeg

Instructions

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  2. Unfold the puff pastry sheet on a lightly floured surface.
  3. Brush the melted butter evenly over the puff pastry.
  4. Arrange apple slices and brie cubes evenly over the buttered puff pastry.
  5. Drizzle with honey and sprinkle with cinnamon and nutmeg.
  6. Cut the puff pastry into bite-sized squares (about 2-inch squares).
  7. Transfer the squares to the prepared baking sheet.
  8. Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until the puff pastry is golden brown and the cheese is melted and bubbly.
  9. Let cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Serve warm or at room temperature. For extra flavor, add chopped walnuts or pecans before baking.
